  • That includes all LED bulbs + screens! Rain? Snow? Cloud cover? All good. Just get out there! 10-20 minutes is ideal, but the longer the better if you have the luxury. Viewin’ the sunrise ignites the delicate cascading dance of every function in your body each morning. Every human cell has a light receptor and we quite literally CHARGE our cells in the sunshine. Wait and see how much more energy you miraculously have the further you go in the challenge. It’s a LIFE CHANGER. Like, throw out alarms cuz we no longer need em’ level change. You’ll be shook. 

  • Walk, run, lift heavy things, rebound, yoga, weights, you name it! Barefoot will always give you the maximum health benefits! Movement makes our lymphatic system rejoice by helpin’ our body get rid of the toxins we accumulate daily in our modern world. WE are the lymph motor. It only moves when we move!

  • (Away from cell towers if possible!) The longer the better! Wanna do that while watching the sunrise? Brilliant. Need to break it up into 10 minute intervals? That works too. Grounding reduces cortisol and ALL inflammation. It gives you a literal charge of energy, through the exchange of electrons with Mother Earth. Our ancestors lived their whole lives grounded and now most folks hardly touch their bare feet to the earth anymore. Really consider that. Not surprisingly, we are sicker than we’ve ever been because of our disconnection from Nature.

  • Viewing sunrises + sunsets stimulates the magical pineal gland, which stimulates the pituitary gland to secrete Human Growth Hormone. HGH is one of Nature’s most potent fountains of youth. Sungazing at these times exposes you to healing IR light, lowers cortisol, and sends the proper hormones signals to your beautiful brain for a superb night of sleep.

  • This includes LED bulbs in lamps and overhead lights, computers, phones, and TV. Since every cell in our body has a light receptor, it’s our job to provide our bodies the proper circadian light signals for metabolic health and intuitive hormone signaling. When we expose ANY parts of our body, ESPECIALLY our eyes (that are connected DIRECTLY to the brain through the optic nerve!) we send an avalanche of unnatural messages to the brain…this is the culprit behind the mysterious “second wind” energy folks get after dark. Improper light signals are to blame 99% of the time.

  • JK, but maybe don’t wear them ever again! Our eyes need sunlight to know the right hormones to produce at the right time. Wearin’ sunglasses tricks your brain into thinkin’ the sun isn’t out and it’s much later in the day, which inhibits melanin production (thus greatly increasing risk of sunburn) Wearin’ shades also prevents cellular regeneration (turnover) in our eyes. Overtime this causes vision loss and can be responsible for glaucoma and other degenerative eye diseases.

  • Vegetable, canola, sunflower, soy, corn, safflower, cottonseed, grapeseed. Seed oils can accumulate in the body for years and are highly inflammatory. These highly processed volatile oils cause free radical damage + oxidative stress in your body and on your skin when exposed to light. Even the light in the grocery store and from the moment they are made. 1-800-NO THANKS. Opt for butter, avocado oil and tallow instead. (Olive oil’s fine too, but not for sautéing or roasting due to it’s low smoke point.)
